Many people visit it in spring because the cherry blossom of Kumamoto castle is very beautiful. I went there to see it with my friends. Then there is a place that is called "honmaru goten" in Kumamoto castle. It was made in 2008. I have never been there. My friend who has been there said "It was very beautiful!" So I want to go there.There are a lot of delicious foods in Kumamoto. For example, Kumamoto is famous for "basashi". "Basashi" is meat of horse. Have you ever eaten it? It is very delicious. I like it. Then there is a food that is called "karashi renkon" in Kumamoto. It is a local dish in Kumamoto. It is a food that has some mustard in the hole of the lotus roof. My grandmother often makes it. I like it.I live near the port that is called "shinkou" in Kumamoto. There are a lot of people who are cultivating laver near my house. My uncle and aunt are also cultivating laver. They go to sea on a cold day of winter. My father often helps them. I can eat fresh laver through them.
